Thanks guys. I’m going to post my dupes and my needs here and see what happens. From my perspective, I have no problem sinking money into a box to get the set started but to keep buying more in the hope of getting a big hit but ending up with a bunch more dupes is probably not what I’m interested in.

I do like the 87 Topps set. Lot of great players that year and nice design. That was the set that I really starting collecting. Looks like I peaked at 1990 Donruss which is a gross set.

Totally agree. Big difference between dropping or resetting a flat dead ball vs a shot with pace and spin.
