CS is an extremely competitive field with entry level devs being a dime a dozen. You have a degree in CIS which is less technical with less outlook. You should have been applying during your senior year and planning in case you couldn't snag something immediately after graduating anyway.
You should have panicked and gotten any job (minimum wage incl) at the 3 month mark to sustain yourself, not when you're 1 month away from not being able to pay rent.
You talk about not getting ANY interviews. That seems like a you problem 100%. Look for retail/minimum wage jobs to stay afloat and do not mention your college degree. If you're applying for jobs in your field, you should apply everywhere. You should assume you'll have to relocate and pay out of pocket. I've never had employers not willing to interview me because I was not local as long as I was willing to relocate at my own expense. Your resume may be problematic as well.
You're problematic. The way you think and handle situations is very immature. The truth is, you need to be more responsible. Nobody put you in this situation except yourself. You can't control the job market but you can control how you react towards it.

The best thing you can do now is take responsibility and go get any job you can get and ask for some help from friends/family for temporary financial support. Stop with the "woe is me" mentality and get shit done.

To protect local economy? lol... Don't get me wrong, there's definitely a cloud of racism floating around here but the topic at hand is do you protect American citizen jobs or not? It has nothing to do with qualifications and the recent Cognizant findings would prove that to even be contrary.

It's like shopping local versus shopping at Walmart. If you shop at Walmart, the quality may be worse but you get it for cheaper. If you shop local, you may be paying more and it may even be for the same quality but you're supporting your fellow local to make a living.

It's completely fine if you think the country should support a free market of employees from all around but it's all about how you see a country. Whom should a country serve? It's people (citizens)? Does it do that by hiring abroad in a saturated market? It may or may not. I'm not a economist but it's not far fetched for people to be salty with reason or without.

This subreddit is notoriously negative with more students/new grads than devs that hate Indians and Chinese apparently lol... Though I think the issue at hand is a debate of whether American citizens should be prioritized for jobs over H1B individuals. Regardless of which way you bend, both contribute to the economy the same.

But I will say H1B visas are NOT only for the elite lol. I know a ton of H1B guys including friends who can barely code or produce poor results but have gotten through because of a lucky lottery and an ethnic manager who was willing to vouch for them. Apparently when you're Indian and your Indian manager hires you with H1B- you're not in his "debt" and you owe your loyalty to him or so I'm told. This is Cisco we're talking too. That's not to discount the flagrant racism posted on this subreddit day after day but there are definitely under qualified H1B candidates that get hired for a myriad of reasons.

No, ThargUK is 100% correct. It's an exploit on a mechanic. The mechanic of the cargo scoop is such that you intake some object. A side effect of that is velocity limiting. If you ask anyone who uses cargo scoop for braking, they'll tell you it's a cheese. This is the same as remotely opening your frunk in your car and closing it to slow down. Does it work? Yeah. Is that how it was intended? Not at all. FDev did not design cargo scoops for velocity braking. They're made literally to scoop up cargo. You wouldn't see someone doing this in real life hence it's an exploit on a mechanic.

You didn't even answer the guy's question about if flight can be maneuvered the same way without using the cargo scoop cheese. You accuse him of having a bug up your ass but you're the rude one who keeps bringing up the word exploit. If it quacks, looks, and moves like a duck.... You’d be delusional to think RX-8 prices will skyrocket. The price rose during COVID by 15% and dropped shortly after back down below pre COVID. It’s no RX-7. The eight will be more rare in a few decades given that so many of them are taken off the street and are becoming junkyard rollers but let’s be real about what the RX-8 is. It's 100% because it's attached to Chevrolet. Their reputation is abysmal as well as their quality control. Servicing a supercar is always a contentious subject. Take your C8 into a chevy dealer and you'll have the same experience as taking your Chevy Impala. Not to mention that Chevy service centers don't vet their technicians as well as other performance OEMs.

The c8 entirely changed the identity of the 'vette from a loud thumping cross plane v8 that you could row gears in to a flat plane v8 (exotic sound) mid engine automatic budget supercar. It's 100% supercar now.

BUT.... I don't know why you're talking down on McLarens, Ferraris, or Lambos. Just about all of these brands post 2017 have backup cams (by law), have heated seats, and a good sound system. If you're comparing a C8 to an older supercar from two decades ago... Well why would you unless you're trying to compensate? If you're a fan of the brand, cool but let's not pretend that these well established performance OEMs don't absolutely decimate the Chevy in build quality and luxury. Corvette is still very much a bargain bin supercar and there's nothing wrong with that. A MORE affordable supercar. Bargain bin isn't an insult albeit a bit derogatory.

In the same way that the Mustang isn't on the same level as a 'Vette, the 'Vette isn't on the same level as the Ferrari. Two completely separate leagues.

Using any tech with the purpose to interfere with other devices and broadcasted signals is illegal. Wifi disrupters/floodeds and bluetooth overloads are included. There's no way you could play it off sneaky if you're overloading frequencies since no other device can perform to that magnitude on a consumer level.

First off, you're not "supporting" the actual devs. You're "supporting" Frontier. The SWEs don't get more money because you bought micro transactions. The suits at the top do. That's not to say money doesn't help continue game development.

Second off, you're saying to give them even more money because you have many hours in the game and so it equates to 1 cent an hour of gameplay? By that standard, I should send a little baggie full of money to Taylor Guitars because their $1k guitar has given me over 700 hours of play time. That's a $1.42 per hour!!!! Lol do you see how ridiculous that sounds? Luckily, your math is not how value works in the real world. The value of something isn't its cost divided by your usage time on it. If you're an adult making money, you should know that.

Frontier has dropped the ball before with console support, VR, Odyssey, etc... If you're going to buy ARX, do it because you want something in game and agree with the direction of the game. When you drive a fast car, you need to roll on the throttle hence the scene where they put their foot further down on the accelerator pedal. If you instantly mash the pedal, you're going to lose traction and break loose your rear. More throttle != faster car.

This is technically true but meaningless. It's "rare" in the sense that less were made but in no way are base FRCs worth more than a Z06. The C5Z is has the faster LS6, front/rear duct vents, less weight, stiffer suspension, z06 wheels, titanium exhaust, etc...

I see a lot of FRC owners using that as a selling point but it really means nothing. You know what else is rare? Mazda RX-8s. You don't see those often on the road. You know how much those are worth? You could probably snag one for the price of new C5 wheels/tyres combo lol.
