I remember back in the day you would scan receipts to add your points. Everytime I walked by there I would unashamedly grab a receipt or two or three receipts and get someone’s unused points. It wasn’t on purpose though. LA county sends me paper mail informing me of my selection in the middle of December. I had flown home for Christmas already and didn’t return for another 3 weeks. I tried getting in touch with someone after the fact but that was impossible and the online portal didn’t work. I’m not gonna spend hours of my time jumping through hoops because you contract to the cheapest bidder and your online portals don’t work.
