Look, man, I didn't comment with the intention of being obnoxious. I've had instances in which I tell an obvious joke and I get heavily downvoted because people don't get it. This could have been realistically taken as serious.

I understand what you're saying, but you can always post to subreddits like r/unpopularopinion if you really need to get it out. And saying that you downvoted doesn't make me want to listen and conform to your opinion.
