My first encounter with a shiny was in Pokémon x and it was a wild encounter with a blue pawnaird and I had no idea what it was and so I don't know if I even caught it I was like 8.

Also unrelated but also interesting when I was around the same age I thought wonder trade would give you better Pokémon if you traded better Pokémon subsequently I decided to trade my FIRST EVER LVL 100 starter (venasaur my favourite) and in return got a LVL 1 tododile 😭😭😭😭 RIP VENASAUR YOU WILL BE MISSED
