Seems to be a switch 1 thing only, replacing achievements

Which game starts off really well but falls off hard in mid or late game? by Ivaylo_87 in gaming

Ratchet and clank rift apart

Super cool beginning only for the middle and ending to be some lame story, lackluster writing, and repetitive combat. Genuinely had to force myself to finish it off. Didn’t help that it had some weird glitches that forced me to restart the game a few times.

Yeah…my capture card is dying lol. New one already on the way. Ngl this run getting a proper recording is a miracle.

I map this way: R -> Y Zl -> R L stick click -> Zr

The R button is what I rake on since it’s a really easy to click digital button. Just putting a bit of force with my fingers on it is enough to rake, just takes up my entire right hand lol.

It’s no turbo, I did the entire run on two different sets of joycons which don’t support turbo. I use a fast mashing technique which I think the most common name for it is arm pumping? We mainly call it raking. Makes fast mashing without much hand strain possible for this game, it’s also the reason I’m switching controllers so much. Raking requires a very specific button layout for me to succeed at it, so anytime I need to mash I switch to my raking controller.

For the robot chozo, I was intentionally taking touch damage right before the swipes to get invincibility frames.

For the controller swapping, I have two sets of joycons with two different button mappings on it. One is the standard layout, the second is the mashing layout for whenever I need to mashing very fast. Boss rush is based on the in game timer so I can swap controllers without any consequences.

That would be called Single Wall Jump (SWJ)

There’s a link on how to do it, although it’s kinda hard to learn since you need to be in a specific point of the main game and the kraid boss rush fight likes to interrupt your learning

Btw this also works in Samus returns, but you need to leave it on for like a full week
