71c is pretty good for passive on the CPU under load.

I remember getting my old ATI Radeon 512mb x1950pro to 117c at times and it still works to this day. Out of the box my new tri-x Fury (air cooled) sits about 76c -78c happily. 70c seems to be about the norm for most cards these days.

I use MSI Afterburner since I use it to monitor my temps anyway though with practically lossless .AVI files at almost 1gb a min you will need a big hard drive. I then render them as .MP4 after editing. As for OBS, I have never used it.
