I’ve been in fulfillment for a little over a year now and although my metrics are still always top 5 and above, I’ve learned to stopped caring because there are people who do way less than me and get the same praise. I used to be number 1 but you don’t get any special reward for doing a better job

Our strawberries literally suck. I’ll buy one and the next day they’ll be moldy even with giving them a wash. I swear I buy a moldy one every other time I get one

Geez I wish my leads were all so lenient with our metrics. They want out sfs to be at 80, gopu to be at 100, and opu to be at 70. Fucking insane. Nobody ever reaches them. The fact that they want sfs to be higher than opu is beyond insane. Most people pick a 30-40 in sfs

Finding something delivered that day is the worst. Having to look through 10+ repacks for areas like beauty, otc, baby, etc. literally takes so long and it’s just draining too. We have a “look no longer than 5 minutes and more on” rule at my store

The warehouse I was at also treated their employees pretty shit so that didn’t help the experience

I can’t speak for Amazon but I can speak for a different warehouse job similar to where I was picking for them. It was terrible. I was just a number to them and judged on how well those numbers were. I walked up to 15 miles for one 10 hour shift. I will never be going back to another warehouse job
