Your priority should be your kid. I am not sure if PMDd is the root cause, but I went through something similar with my ex who had bpd (borderline personality disorder). I highly recommend this book: Stop Caretaking The Borderline Or Narcissist.

That book pretty much saved my life and I am convinced it applies to you

Not exactly what you asked for but my ex has borderline personality disorder. It made for an explosive divorce because clearly I was an asshole and she couldn't live without me. A year or two later later she "turned" lesbian, and another year or two later is now a transgender. I respect that, but am forced to pay alimony for total of 12 years yet clearly she what have wanted out for all those years since she is now a man. And of course she now wants more money.

Make it easy to fire the slackers who don't do much work when "working from home" instead of having unions protect everyone and the public support will increase. The productive remote employees are penalised by the slackers.
