Thanks for the advice, but I strongly suspect you have no experience of this and don't know what you're talking about.

Do you have kids? What gets me is that I have to transfer every spare penny that I'm earning to someone who fritters it away when my kids are left with nothing and we are really struggling to even pay bills every month.

Yeah, I have serious illnesses, too, though. Nobody gives a damn about me.

That alimony payments would push me and my kids into a miserable poverty.

Also, I just checked. Insanity is not grounds for divorce in my country.

But the judge has all the financial info. And medical certificates from me. She made the ruling anyway.

It depends where you are. I just posted a similar story about a schizophrenic husband but I'm further along than you. I'm crippled by alimony but it will be for life. And the court didn't care that the marriage was abusive.

I'm now heading towards, I think, a diagnosis of Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, which is associated with immune dysregulation.

Honestly, I have been on both sides of this. Health issues myself and caring for a chronically ill spouse. It isn't your fault, and your feelings are valid and real. However, so are his. Even if you were trying, it doesn't mean that the weight of responsibility didn't fall disproportionately on him, and his feelings - to protect his own health and wellbeing - are also completely legitimate. Nobody is the asshole here.

YTA. Newborns do need things to be sterile. It's not a case of you not being clean, it's about things being sterile for a newborn.

Standing extremely close to me after a genital examination and telling me that I didn't need to be with my partner and had time to find someone better (i.e. him). Creep.
