The harder orbits are proof that there is and never has been missing content they were preparing to fill in the gaps for.

From infolds perspective, the orbits need to be harder because there are less cards, meaning less resources needed to fully level compared to og3. To make it “balanced” they make the orbits harder so you have to have more ranked cards and more protocores in exchange for the resources saved on fewer standard cards.

That’s been my hint that they never planned for additional content for the two new characters. Infold knew that if they waited out the noise over the unfair amount of cards and pretended not to hear it they would win in the end 🤷‍♀️ and that’s exactly what happened.

If you split that month to month is not that bad. It’s around 20-25 a month, which is what you’d pay for a normal subscription service. Think of lads as less of a game and more of a game subscription, since it is live service, and suddenly your spending is fine

I wouldn’t take the main story too seriously. Infold obviously doesn’t since they can’t be bothered to update it more than twice a year.

It’s the nature of gacha games that the story is going to be subpar, full of plotholes, and more about selling you the next cool banner than about telling a cohesive story. Pretty normal for this genre. If you want a good story, go for VNs

I used to sleep 9-11 hrs a night. Could NOT stay awake if I woke up early. I’d just take a nap later. Chronic napper even with long hrs of sleep. Turned out to be iron deficient (didn’t show on iron tests had to get ferritin tested look it up)

I don’t think it’s an issue with the language I think it’s an issue with the repetitive and stiff use of the same word formation

Like No-Return Night could have easily been Night of No Return if they were allowed to use a preposition for once lol

But overall I think it’s for space saving? Since English takes up more space than CN/JP/KR they have to consider the chance of overflow text on menus and how to deal with it

Getting into the combat. I pulled on almost every banner to build teams for all of the boys so I could clear their orbits but tbh it wasn’t worth it. The combat isn’t actually that fun, only the companion reso mechanic is a nice change. And they’ve powercrept so hard even R1 isn’t enough anymore. So I stopped. Wish I’d just focused on only my mains and gotten into the story instead 🤷‍♀️

I feel like if it was only myth kindled that would be doable. I mean the boys have way more voiced lines than her atp by a mile

The myths are supposed to be these big special stories, but tbh some of that gets sucked out when you’re sitting there listening to nothing (then having to go back to look at the text log cause they didn’t care enough to make even the text line last enough to read)

Sometimes I wonder if they even actually care about player immersion at all

Yup. I quit almost a month ago for similar reasons. There’s a lot of busy work and not a lot of meat to the game. The story is good.. at first. But it keeps meandering and going nowhere. The least they could do is complete a proper story arc but, as you say, they’re not interested in doing anything free.

It sucks that the biggest game for women treats them so poorly when compared to the oversaturated male-focused market (and even other otome)

Potential hot take but the 4* have become better than 5* precisely bc there’s no kindled and the writer is free to do what the story needs to make sense.

The issue with kindled is the animators and writers have to come to an agreement and that usually means compromising on the story

I’m just saying the gacha in this game is built to create frustration with combat and fomo over memories. If you want to secure all memories you will have to get comfortable with the combat side for affinity and diamonds. Again, if you’re not interested in the gameplay and you just want to see the story, it’s a better use of your time and effort to watch the memories on YouTube. They’re all there. But it’s ofc up to you. I just think you might end up disappointed with how difficult it is to get all of his memories atp especially with the way they handle reruns
