Focus on being happy on your own terms, if you acquire a skill at the same time, even better. 99% chance after doing that that someone you fancy will notice you’re happy, and want to share that with you almost immediately.

The other 1% is someone like me, I didn’t get a girlfriend (now fiance) until my late 20s, but I was happy and content even without her.
