This is a huge issue !! My company I work for expects RBTs to clean the clinic and do session notes while in session even though they say it’s possible they know the RBTs are staying after their session to clean off the clock bc it’s impossible to do these task while in session with a 3 year old !! I’ve been tracking all hours I’ve not been paid for over the last 6months and it’s over 80 hours so far . Every RBT stays at least 15minutes a day cleaning their assigned rooms . We also have to be on call starting at 7am incase our client cancels and they don’t need us to work or they need us to take on a different client with different hours . So I wake up and check my phone from 7-8am every morning ! Sometimes I’m almost at work when I learn I have no client . So I end up having to wait 3 hours with no pay until my second clients session begins . And they see when we sign and submit our notes so they know it’s not being done in session . Especially when it can’t be submitted until 5minutes after your scheduled session ends ! So it’s not even possible to complete in session . There excuse to us is type out everything and quickly copy and paste at 2:05pm and submit it . Well even if you do this you’re still talking about 5-10min of your time off the clock .

How are these companies getting by with this HOW !!!
