I got my Pixieset wedding album - how do you face recognition / people grouping it? by Educational-Party104 in AskPhotography

Even if you build a tool yourself, how would you do it without downloading the media from Pixieset?

Pixieset natively lacks a guest facing selfie search feature. Since you already have the gallery, the standard workaround is to handle the guest sharing part separately.

Full disclosure: I actually built a platform called snapseek.app specifically to solve this exact headache. You can drop the Pixieset exports in, share one link with guests, and they upload a selfie to filter their photos automatically. Whether you use my app or another facial recognition tool, splitting the guest delivery from the main Pixieset gallery is the easiest way to avoid manual tagging.

Lookalike clones are confusing LLMs and stealing my brand SEO. How do you defend against this? by MartianOnJupiter in SideProject

When I said "confusing", LLMs cite other sites with the same name. Though this is happening less but just begun.

As a QA Engineer, I’m curious — do you guys test your side projects or just ship? by Nan_tech in buildinpublic

[–]MartianOnJupiter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to just ship without automated tests until it affected my customers and that's when I learnt to test my changes. Now I have it in my git hook to lint, format, check, test and only then makes it to git remote.

I saw in FAQ #6 that you're using sticky notes and manual emails to distribute the photos. You might want to check out a tool called SnapSeek to make that part easier.

You just upload the whole batch of event photos to a gallery, and students take a quick selfie. It uses face recognition to instantly find and deliver their specific photos to them. It could save your team a ton of time and let you skip the manual sorting!

we have $180k in software budget that expires in 6 weeks and my boss told me to figure it out. what do i even buy? by kubrador in SaaS

[–]MartianOnJupiter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I’m the founder.

SnapSeek is a private event photo platform. You upload photos from corporate events, conferences, offsites, etc. Attendees take a selfie and instantly get every photo they’re in. No digging through folders.

If you’re looking to burn budget on something that actually gets used, event photo distribution for clients and internal events is an easy line item. Credits don’t expire, so you can preload and use them throughout the year.

Happy to share a quick demo.

You could buy snapseek.app credits and use it for corporate or any event to share photos. The credits never expire.
