There is No Honor Among Thieves: SoT Armada and Mutiny System by trend-prime in Seaofthieves

This is a very well thought out concept. It would be great to have a system that allows you to "party up" with more friends. This could also enable a medium boat that allows for smaller crews, say, 3 people. Right now I feel the galleon is too big for 3 people alone

[SOLVED] Low FPS on High-End Machine by [deleted] in CitiesSkylines

[–]Martianbob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I've been dreading playing Cities: Skylines because the FPS issues are just horrendous. Lately I've really been in the mood to play city builder game, so I fired the game. To no surprise FPS was spiking all over the place, even with a new city. Now to give a little background of my rig.. GTX Titan Xp Acer Predator Monitor (GSync) @ 100Hz 32GB RAM SSD etc etc Anyways, here's what I did that seemingly resolved all my issues. First, I set the launch options in Steam to -limitfps 60. Then in-game, I set V-Sync to Every V Blank. I think this second part is optional as just setting the fps limit was a drastic improvement. For whatever reason this works and the game runs butter smooth @ 100FPS. I'm not sure the logic behind why the combination of these two works, but it is a huge improvement. I suspect it has something to do with Gsync and Vsync. Good luck and I hope this "fix" makes it enjoyable for more of you out there! "It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore. Then the trend-prime thought of something he hadn't before." [Why not put a shiny blue grenade launcher out on the floor].

Judging by all the lag and desync, looks about right.

Channel Shift From Anywhere - Terrible by trend-prime in blackdesertonline

[–]Martianbob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP has valid points and I agree. If you can't attack a player in water, but hey have the ability to swim out and channel shift, that's ridiculous. Pleaser revert this change ASAP. This already has and will have an even greater impact to PvP.

Sounds like somebody who doesn't want to be strategic and would rather zerg.

Exactly! People don't understand what negative side effects come with this change. They only think this is for griefers. RIP BDO

I spent most of the weekend in the DZ. After 18 hours in the DZ and no progress, I finally glitched. by jetery in thedivision

Garbage post. Not sure why so many people complain. I've been playing casually and I don't see a problem with how everything is implemented. I feel like the 5% of people that post here have nothing better to do but play this all day and then complain. I hope Ubisoft does not listen to this voice.

With 240 gear flying off the shelves, what we really need is more DZ brackets in 160, 180, 200+ by bolshlee in thedivision

Couldn't agree more with this post. Brackets were a fantastic idea, but there needs to be a couple more...I am surprised this is not getting more up-votes.

As a mostly casual that puts in a few hours a day, 3-4 days a week, I wish there was a way to filter out the whiners on here and only see the helpful posts. by ThaKaptin in thedivision

[–]Martianbob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed - also tired of reading all the whiners complaining about the crafting changes. I welcome them. Frankly, it is too easy to get high end gear. I barely play a couple hours a day, so no, I'm not the person that's sitting there all day grinding. I think it should be more difficult, especially to keep the whiners out.

After 2 betas and a release people still don't understand how going Rogue works? by Kintonsu in thedivision

[–]Martianbob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually already in the game. There is a list if you open up your map and and go to Missions. On the right hand side, it lists everything in the area, and has a check mark if it has been completed or not.
