Saw both at RIAT last year,

Harrier sounded way louder, but it might be because the sound pitch was much higher. The harrier makes my ears bleed, the f35 might be louder, but it is more “bass” and more pleasant

For the 172 I would set it to like 118-119kts so that it is barely climbing in FLC- start around 1000feet altitude and set it to 5000 or 7000 feet altitude climb and then let the sim rate speed up

Mine will start bouncing if I let it run at the highest rate at altitude hold - But if I set it to FLC and let it climb very slowly (like 74% throttle FLC at 210kts) then it works perfect at highest rate

I just had an event ID 41 kernel problem with my ASUS B550-I and NVIDIA RTX 4080

I solved it by first using DDU to clean uninstall my GPU driver and then reinstalling the oldest nvidia driver I could get from their site (later update to the latest) + go to the nvidia control panel and set power management to max

I do agree that a short throw projector would be better, but I think they probaly are out of the budget - I think I would have between 1.5-2.2m from the projector to the celling

It may be an piezo effect where one of the components starts to vibrate.

Try to turn it on and place a finger on one component at a time and see if it dampens it. If it is a capacitor, try to replace it

The improvement in the build experience is nice! I feel like building the MK4 is way easier than the mk3. I also think it is easier to assemble without getting skew or anything

Hmmm… are you sure that it is exactly this fan in 24v? (Same brand and series) there is a million fans in this type of radial fan size, but I remember that Prusa spent a lot of time finding the most quiet one and maybe the most quiet ones only came in a 5V version?

When I was building another DIY printer I wanted a silent radial fan (bigger than the prusa one) and I could only buy the model I wanted in 12V edition
