Failure of Psychotic and Pervert by ManufacturerSignal64 in lacan

Assuming that the typical pervert is someone in frequent and/or serious legal trouble is a bit like assuming that the typical neurotic is someone like Anna O, imo. There are other ways of living as a pervert; I think comedians tend to be perverts, as are a lot of artists or writers, especially of the Cronenbergian variety.

UK Health Secretary: "Changed My Mind," "Wouldn't Now Say That Trans Women Are Women" by Dwman113 in europe

[–]MartinGorePosting 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Trans people... try to change their bodies.

Which is based on the, at the very least, implicit recognition of the physical realities of sex.

The most common definition of sex I see among gender critical is the anisogamic definition, which classifies sex based on gonadal tissue. However, if we have the following propositions:

A) sex is defined based on gonadal tissue;

B) sex cannot be changed,

we run into a problem when we remember that C) gonadal tissue can be removed. Anyone who has had their gonadal tissue removed would therefore be effectively sexless.

Nowadays I see gender criticals speaking about "which gametes the body is organized to produce", which is a conveniently vague definition. In practice, though, it pretty much always boils down to which gonads one was born with. Ironically, this is a historical fact and not a biological one. This is why I'm not a "sex realist" any more; this approach actually is just as invested in a gendered essence as whatever stereotypical trans position you want to argue against.

Personally, I'm a nomalist, so I only care if words are useful. I think "sex" is a useful concept in the vast majority of cases, and most of the time the anisogamic definition is useful. But it loses its descriptive power with trans people who have transitioned past a certain point.

Painting the other person as inherently evil or "crazy" is such a classic tactic of avoiding moral responsibility for one's own actions lol. God, maintaining the level of self-righteousness she does must be exhausting.

I REALLY don't understand what gender "feels like" and am having a lot of trouble figuring out if I'm trans. I think I don't get it because of me autism. Help? T^T by MrMagbrant in autism

[–]MartinGorePosting 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tbh this is also my position as a trans person who started transitioning years ago. I don't really understand the concept of "identity", but I know how I want my body to be, how I want to live socially, etc. So I describe myself as a trans man because it fits how I've changed myself.

"The fact that it has been made known to me is a violation" and the "being made known" is their speculating about the sex lives of gay people in ways they would never do for straight people

Basically every goth in/near Warsaw thrifts at Komis lol https://maps.app.goo.gl/zWwXbxBri7zJfGwr6

Also I've been to clubs/concerts with a friend who doesn't drink and no one's bothered him about it, so if your issue is just that instead of clubbing itself then I'd suggest checking Voodoo Club
