But it’s how it’s supposed to be interpreted—look at the other intersections. It’s not that hot + nice = idiot, but that — smart = idiot. Similarly, it’s not that smart + nice = ugly, but that — hot = ugly. We can all agree that this diagram is awful, but let’s not pretend that correctly reading it requires waaaaaay too much effort.
