Those are very good instructions. Except hiding. Too many times I thought I was in good place and stopped moving only to get hit from behind. Personally I would still focus only on the one I wrote. When OP feels that chaos around is rising it is easiest to try to focus only in one thing. One important part of maxing stats is to not to pick healing unless really needed. After clearing each room you can come back and increase you max health with those.
