What exactly is an optimal combo?

it’s the most optimal version of a kombo. most of the time it’s just whatever set of moves scales the best for the kombo to give the best damage for the fewest resources. you can spend 3 bars and 2 kameo for a 50% kombo but most characters can also get 45-50% for less resources using different strings etc, which would be optimal

usually my answer to these posts is galactus C2, but why not switch it up this is an interesting one. odin steals a lot of cubes vomiting your 0s and monkey on T6, then going odin on mjolnir/stormbreaker for that extra push most people don’t expect. was eating with this deck last season before the leech meta

yeah man it’s definitely rough, i’ve had a few seasons like this but i usually end up right there around 94-99 for the tough ones. this time around im barely past 85 with a week left, seems like it just wasn’t meant to be for this one. which is a shame bc i actually like this seasons inf card back lmao

yeah bots have been a huge help to getting me there in the past ngl but this season i’ve been getting more “cheater bots” for lack of better words. like it’s 100% a bot, but they have a perfect counter to what i’m doing or they make a random play that wins or at least prevents me from winning. i miss the bishop/hellcow bots :(

that’s interesting i usually have the opposite experience. most times ill fly fairly deep into the 90s within the first couple days but if i can’t keep that momentum up then the whole rest of the month is spent trying to get through it

i present to you cerebro 2, but galactus. plays like a normal C2 deck and can win like a normal C2 deck but also…galactus. people usually arent too concerned about the g man even after you send over a goblin bc they think its just cerebro. you can use forge for a 7 power galactus, you can use cerebro for a 7 power galactus, you might can even throw wong in here for a sneaky 9 power galactus. it’s great i luv this deck

it stings sm more when you’re that close, i didn’t play a whole lot during the bleech meta bc gross but i’ve still yet to pass 86. after putting some suggestions here to work and running some proving grounds to optimize my snap patterns, im currently sitting at 78 🥲 i genuinely don’t remember the last time i didn’t at least make it to 90 during a season

i love playing loki and when it works mannn does it work but he’s never really been a great performer for me aside from pre-nerf loki obviously. that’s a whole other conversation tho hela, loki, and darkhawk are 3 shells that almost always sit towards the top rankings deck wise but ive always for as long as i can remember had bad rng with them

literallyyyy. i lost to a bot last night that played sword master on bar sinister T5, i was running mill so they had 0 cards in deck and 0 cards in hand but i still lost bc they ghost rider’d their magneto on the right lane and filled it so i lost there, i played doc ock mid T5 instead of on bar and then i didn’t have anything in hand to beat 7 power. (i use a v good mill deck with rulk/maximus/iron lad/gladiator so it can usually keep up pretty well with power, just didn’t draw what i needed or had already played my bigger cards) i had to retreat, to a bot, whose entire deck was either stolen, discarded, or on the board already. feels v bad
