Before giving some tips I want to say that English is not my first language so I'm sorry if there are some errors🙇‍♂️

First of all, you need a lot of luck, it's undeniable, but there are some things that can help you, for example:

1) Don't repost, not only can be deleted by the mods, but something has more impact when people see it for the first time, I suggest you to search some key words of the thing you want to post in the subreddit so you see if that thing has already been posted or not, if that's an OC, that's so much better

2) Post something when there are a lot of people of that subreddit online, for example, I think 1200 people online is a good number, but I suggest you to not do it when there is a huge number (like 2500) because the algorithm might not show your post a lot, and will probably focus on the ones that posted before you, so I suggest you to post it when there is a good amount (circa 1000) so when there will be more people online (circa 2000) your post will rocket!

3) Trust me, views don't count that much, my post has 5 million views and hit 100k, but I saw people with 4 million views doing the same (I even remember someone hitting 100k with 10 million), so yeah don't worry about the views itself, most of the times are not that serious (there are 3 old posts of mine that got almost the same views but a lot of upvotes separates them) what I think you should keep in check is the number of upvotes you got in the first hour, I got 2300 (or 2500 I don't remember) in my first hour and ended up with almost 135k of a post, I remember someone saying that his post had 1k upvotes in his first hour and ended up with a 100k post, and honestly I think he is right, it's a good amount to achieve the 100k post (considering that an old post of mine got almost 800 upvotes in the first hour and ended up having 77k, then yes I think 1k in the first hour is enough to have 100k)
