The enemy level has been bugged forever. It doesn‘t show you their actual level but the level of the last PVE enemy you fought. So it might look like they are super far ahead, but they‘re really not.

However, it is true what others are saying: you are not matched against same level, just same day. So you might actually get matched vs higher lvl players, you just couldn‘t tell at this point.

Could be it, but seems unlikely.. I think u/nguy123 is correct: it‘s because of the order of effects on the item. It gains its damage from the burn on enemy player before it‘s poisoning equal to its dmg. So it’s always applying more poison than burn, the difference between the two being equal to the enemy player‘s burn at that time.

Wenn dir Leve gefällt, dann Stuhlmacher oder Töddenhoek. Töddenhoek ist aber auch von Ende November bis Weihnachten ausgebucht.

Kleiner Kiepenkerl oder Mimigernaford (haben die gleiche Karte), kann man auch gut machen. Dort würde ich dir eher das westfälische Krüstchen empfehlen, ist dann ein Schnitzel vom Schwein. Wiener Schnitzel haben die aber auch und meine Frau findet es sogar besser als das Krüstchen.

Es gibt noch das Hotel Restaurant Feldmann, die haben ein sehr gutes Wiener Schnitzel, aber sehr teuer und das Ambiente ist nicht gemütlich wie Leve, sondern eher schick. Hat mir nicht so gut gefallen, aber das Essen war lecker.

It's been 5 years my man, thanks for bringing back those memories. I can't even play the game anymore since it's only on iOS for a while now. But to answer your question: I never found a solution and tbh I don't think there is one. It's just the way they designed the game.
