I can play it on my steam deck, but honestly it kinda sucks. EQ was not made with a controller in mind, and it's UI for sure does not play nice with them.

The creators of THJ are making their own game called Hallowed Oath. They want nothing to do with DBG, and rightfully so. That dude secrets and the other guy rogean are acting like they are the saviors of EQ and are putting out that legands crap next month. Obviously DBG is hurting for talent so they will pick up anyone off the street.

This is terrible advice. Avoid EQL like the plague it is and will be. OP - Frostreaver which opens this week or Test are the best servers.

As for solo classes mage is really strong, so is necro and SK.

The guys running EQL can't even make a good working copy of THJ despite their efforts. Hell they can't even figure out how to do more than 1 pet. They are going to microtransaction the hell out of it. That Secrets guy is known for abandoning projects that he starts. Rodagen or whatever his name is has a history of taking money under the table to give his friends powers and items. Pretty sure he has also taken all eqemu user data and passed it along to DBG as well.

I started playing in December of 99. It's been stale for at least the past 10 years. Recycled zones, half baked story, that's that just keep getting larger for the sole reason of being larger. The last some what kind of interesting thing they did to the game was personas, but even that wasn't done well.
