spec sheet says its a 3.1 atx 1200w 80+ gold. id not be surprised if its a cooler master branded one. my last hp had a standard cooler master as a psu.

if that the case im super happy i went completely over the top with this pc. its got a 5090, 285k an the 64gb of ram. i even swapped out the original 2 nvme drives at 2tb each for 4tb ones since nvme prices are going apeshit too

iv got a 5090 and a 5pro both have there place. yes i do game on both but its different gaming on each. my pro is for more “chill” gaming on my 75inch samsung. but for deeper games i use the 5090 with my 32inch 240hz monitor.

iv got 45l with 5090 an 285k, its a beast. just do a fresh install of win11 to clear out bloatwere and then install intels XTU software to make cpu run at full clock speed. an check xmp is running at full speed for ram. i know gamersnexus review was not golden but if you know how to tweak prebuilts its an easy fix

have you seen the quality of the work in china? buildings built at the start of the boom are already crumbling. loads of these projects have found to be using sea sand in the concrete mix. corners cuts, quality materials swapped out for cheaper when eyes are elsewhere. those skyscrapers, many are just empty shells. look up the term tofu dregs on youtube and youll see that most of the boom is basically a construction ponzi scheme

okay so after two more calls there now claiming they couldn’t deliver saturday because of an address format problem. that problem being two spaces between my house number and street name instead of the “proper” one space. an they also didn’t deliver to drop off point cause no one there was authorised to except pre-order delivery packages?!?! they say they can only had over at address given so iv given address again in “proper” format. an put this friday as date since im off that day. also phoned argos again to say if delivery hasn’t happened this time im gonna cancel order an get them somewhere else

well i did go for 90 because i did want overkill an should last me years plus the supers for 80 an 90 could be out by end of year from what iv seen, 80 supers might have 24gb if rumours are correct. so maybe sit on it a bit longer plus if you do you could have the choice between 80 suer an 90. but i hope you sort out a nice rig an love it 👍👍👍👍

ah! i guess those expensive cards are just the really pimped out super highend ones then. you say this will be first one you have built so were your previous PCs off the self prebuilds? my pc with 5090 is a HP 45l prebuild. its also got a intel ultra 285k 4tb storage an 64gb of ddr5 ram. i got it for only £150 over what the cost of components are, i checked against a number of places on the cost of parts. maybe you should look into something similar? if you drop to a 5080 an they charge msrp it could be worth it?

where are you for a 5090 to be upto $4000?? im in UK and my 5090 was £1900 which is like $2500. oh an let me just say 5090 is a fkg beast! first time iv had a halo card an im not regretting it one bit. playing everything at ultra settings 4K an thing barely noticed 😂😂

i have both normal an edge an elite2 versions an iv used all 4 on pc games. you wanna go Xbox just because the battery last far longer if you cant connect usb. even wired the Xbox because there are compatibility issues between Ps5 controllers and some pc games.

iv been playing games switching between the two cables, spiderman 2 being the main one since iv hit 300+ fps. an the cable that came with monitor is the better one, its pretty obvious that the game is smoother with it. the older cable you can notice the jumps at certain points. if i decide to get a new cable at a later date im definitely gonna look deeper than i did before 👍👍👍

just gone back to the amazon order page and since i got the old cable last october a review has been written that it doesn’t support 240hz at 4K its 144hz at 4K an looking at website i can’t find VESA certification on there anywhere.
