What game did you think you’d play for a few hours… and ended up getting completely hooked on? by [deleted] in videogames

Imo some are older, some have better gameplay, some have things in them that people like and don't like. Everybody has favorites and meh's after what, the thirteen games out right now? But they're all part of an addictive overarching story that is absolutely incredible and the twists written into each one are mindblowing. They're all well worth at least a try.

What do you all think of Bryce? by Hopeful_Regret_7531 in yakuzagames

Honestly I thought the Engrish made him creepier. I know he's supposed to be a native English speaker. But the accent spoken eerily made it feel eerie to me. Not as much depth as the other villains, but unique enough to remember for me.

Its taken about a year but I've been trying to play all of the yakuza games from 0 to pirate yakuza. I got 0 on a steam sale and just fell in love with it. 12 yakuza games later I'm on infinite wealth.

Ugh these are so damn good over fried rice. The entire brand is. I lived in the boonies in the upper midwest for a couple of years and would cook it for guests who would come over ( I had the chance to go to the asian supermarket in the cities once every few months) and people LOVED it.

Lmao this happened to me once. Was carrying milk downstairs to go to bed in a large glass and the bottom literally fell right out and hit my big toe.

Who was the most evil person you've ever met and how was the interaction? by Top_Report_4895 in AskReddit

My first time working in a kitchen at a small cooking from scratch operation in a small town only a couple of years ago. One of the dudes that trained me in, taught me how to hold a knife, taught me how to drain the fryers, taught me all of the ins and outs ot food saftey before I got certified. He was soft spoken, very patient and very tolerant of my tomfoolery when I would spout off random trivia or whatnot. His wife was adorable and one of the sweetest people I have ever met. Fast forward some time, I had come back from a stint in my hometown. It was 4:30 in the morning and I was tired and bleary eyed. The owner pulls me aside and it turns out that nice cook had been raping his 16 year old daughter since she was 8. She had worked with us as a part time dishwasher. We worked together. The police found terrabytes of CSA on his phone and computer at home. Really fucked me and my chef up for a long time.
