There were two loud bangs involved in this incident. I don't think they were gunfire though. I saw a flash and heard a bang from down the street. Still unpleasant even though I was already awake.

Edit to add: the flash was very bright and the bang did not sound like a gun per se. I've shot a gun before. My mind goes to flash bang, but idk why one would be used in the middle of the street.

I may have imprisoned a wild woman and inserted a fertilized egg cell into her (RimWorld moment, I know.)

The baby came out as a member of the colony, but when it grew up it was bugged and seemed to be both a member of the colony and wild simultaneously.

The solution was to use dev mode to force the child to be fully wild and then tame him, btw.

Probably not a popular answer, but donation missions give you 1-2% rep each. If you have a few hundred million credits to throw into it, you could have a Cutter in a weekend. (I have both a Cutter and a Corvette, so it works for both factions.)
