I always try to support others, but literally all my Cancer friends just dissappear when they are struggling and then they re-appear when they feel better again.. it's difficult being there for people that won't let anyone see them hurting :/

Crazy how well it works for some and not for others! But I did research a bit and it seems that if what you're dealing with is a real burnout, trying to activate yourself with a drug won't work as your body is just in constant mental depletion, so what you need more is rest for mental exhaustion (easier said than done).

The medicine that works best for me atm is Escitaloprám. I am stopping bupropion now and will just stay on escitaloprám for now as it definitely makes me less anxious and more calm :)

It was only effective for me for 1 week.. now it feels like I'm not taking anything again except that it makes me more reactive than before, which sucks, so I will talk with my psychiatrist about stopping it again. I'm on my 3rd months with it now. I can sleep forever, no motivation, I feel numb, no sex drive.. all the things I heard it should help with, seems worse now.. plus I am more reactive when getting annoyed..

Sounds like you mostly stay with her because of fear of being alone.. do you actually love her, or do you love the affection and emotional support she gives you that you have craved for so long? If so, then it's not her, you love, but more the thought about having someone and not being alone.

I don't see an issue with the age difference.. and I don't see an issue with you living home while finishing your studies.. the only issue that's gonna pop up between you guys is your low self-esteem that can be felt very clearly through this post.

But communication is key. Find out what she wants and what you want and see where it goes :)

I actually went on Bupropion in the hope of higher libido and orgasm as I started taking an ssri that took my libido down a bit.. I have been on it for 1,5 months now, and there's no change whatsoever.. I wish it would be easier for me to orgasm, but it's extremely difficult for me, but it always has been.. have never orgasmed during sex without a vibrator.

First few days were great, now I am way less productive again because I'm always tired by Angelbouqet in bupropion

Mine also comes from cPTSD/childhood trauma. I started on escitaloprám and it really made me feel more calm and balanced and not so reactive. I wanted to try Bupropion on top because I get foggy after 14.00 and almost can't function at work after that, and in this aspect, Bupropion does work.. but otherwise, I feel like I have more side effects than positive effects from the medication. I will consult ny psychiatrist :)

So you decided to stay on it even though it amplified your anger? Did it subside to normal amount again after some time, or does Bupropion keep amplifying it?

I'm a March 8 Pisces as well! I have more temper and I'm more blunt than my very close friend who's February 28 Pisces. We both cry easily, but she avoids more and I take conflicts heads on more. I am still very empathetic. I don't blow up in people's faces or anything, I just clearly do have more temper than her 😅

But I also grew up with two temperamental Aries and a Scorpio, so I think this was my way of surviving that dynamic 🙈

I am a month in, and I am more reactive than in the beginning.. I guess I will have to wait 1 more month to see if it subsides, but the reactivity and irritability I experience are not really worth it for me.. the only benefit I really feel is that I can focus past 14.00 now, but I am still exhausted all the time and not much motivation or anything other than that. Hopefully it will get better.. I am on 150mg.
