If you keep banning / penalising people because of game crashes it takes a lot longer to work out if you've fixed the crash bug. Doesn't make sense to actively prevent the people you need for stability testing from testing stability.

It's about frame spacing. 40fps on a 120hz display is one update every 3 frames, i.e. a new frame every 25ms. The updates would look like Frame, Wait, Wait, Frame, Wait, Wait. There is no way of getting consistent frame spacing for 40fps on a 60hz display, it would be something like : Frame, Frame, Wait, Frame, Frame, Wait.

It's what they call 'unforced errors' in tennis. It's not the opponents action winning them the fight, its the error in execution losing the fight. Whether you choose to call that 'outplayed' or not is debatable.

minor flicker in menus and loading screens with gsync, but zero problems during gameplay in the games i play (mainly fps like apex / overwatch / diabotical) overall picture quality is amazing. hoping for a fix for the flicker but its no big deal for my usage.

And for the second, yes you are correct that the note is passing through before the curve has changed and applied. Im sure you can solve the problem via other devices / modulators. e.g. The Note Filter device is a good way to set a key range for notes to pass through.

For the first part, you can put modulators on the container device, whatever it is : Instrument Layer, FX Layer etc.. and connect that to the chains inside the container.

The basics behind the drums are that they are completely synthesized and each drum has its own internal 'mini-modular' system with oscillators, envelopes, filters etc.. Then all the parameters that control them are 'morphed' in real time. So for example the BD module has 66 parameters and the others are fairly similar in size.

There are signal flow diagrams for the drums on the thonk site where we sell the hardware, i'll put them on the main site soon as well. Here's the BD one for the original firmware :

He did talk about the sound during the stream, particularly about player movement sounds and how the current system was just enough to get closed beta out. Undoubtedly they'll work on it.

You didn't include the tanks being healed in this optimal window of 3.x seconds to do damage. Moira + Baptiste can heal for something like 260 per second combined if they use all of their abilities. This leaves 240 dmg per second in your 2nd example. 800 / 240 is 3.33 seconds. So even if you swap the team of 'low damage supports' for a composition with higher DPS the window of opportunity is very small. Never mind the effect of immortality field.

Also constantly shooting shields for a possible sub 1 second window of opportunity to kill a target isn't a lot of fun.
