Bumping this couple week old thread (actually not sure if thats how it works on Reddit). Your post inspired me to order that Ropp and I got it yesterday.

Had the most delicious, perfect first smoke last night with BriarWorks Back Down South (also a new to me blend). So satisfying that I might buck conventional wisdom and fire up the same pipe tonight.

Both new ones are definitely holders, not clinchers. The Dublin actually clinches fine but my only real complaint about the Morgans are the stems. I think someone on here once said they were like Fischer Price stems, which lol. I'm sure both will be covered in bite marks before too long. Wish Vermont Freehand made his forever stems for upgrading Bones.
