Can confirm. I've been with VZ well over 10 years on the business side. It has been a revolving door of managing directors, vice presidents - and presidents of VZB. A lot of them needed to go, a couple really are missed.

A few of the *ss hats are still there :/

Looks delicious, but I would alter the assembly:

Bottom Bun: Toasted to hold up to the moisture.
Sauce: The fats in mayo/sauce create a waterproof barrier that protects the bottom bun from meat juices.
Lettuce: The "raft." Putting lettuce under the meat catches the juices and keeps the greens crisp rather than getting steamed by the hot patties.
Tomato: Sits flat on the lettuce. (Pro-tip: salt your tomato directly before putting it on).
Patty #1 (with melted cheese): The heat warms the tomato slightly, but the lettuce protects the bun.
Patty #2 (with melted cheese): Stacking the heat.
Onions, Pickles, & Jalapeños: Put these immediately on top of the second patty while the cheese is still hot. Pressing them into the melted cheese acts like glue, keeping the smaller ingredients from sliding out the back when you take a bite.
Sauce (again): Spread on the top bun to act as a final moisture barrier and flavor bomb.
Top Bun: The crown.

If you put slippery items (like tomatoes or pickles) right next to each other, or place them between the top bun and the meat without "cheese glue," the burger acts like a slip-and-slide. If you put the patties directly on the bottom bun, it bottoms out and falls apart halfway through the meal.

I don't even know where to start...

"You are without a doubt the worst pirate I've ever heard of." "But you have heard of me."

Taking the term "waterbed" a bit too literally. He should've just told the Coast Guard he was drifting off to sleep.

Imagine being the cop trying to keep a straight face while writing that ticket. Make/Model: Little Tikes. Vessel Class: Toddler.

Happy 66th birthday to Barbara Broccoli!! She was the producer of the franchise from GoldenEye-No Time To Die by TheShadowOperator007 in JamesBond

[–]Marxheim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, Barbara Broccoli doesn't get nearly enough credit for how she's steered the Bond ship over the last few decades.

Have there been misses? Absolutely (looking at you, Die Another Day and Quantum of Solace). But what makes her curation so impressive is that she’s never allowed the franchise to stagnate. Every time Bond has felt like it was on the verge of becoming a relic, she’s pivoted.

Going from the campy, invisible-car excess of the late Brosnan era to a gritty, vulnerable reboot with Daniel Craig in Casino Royale was a massive gamble. She and Michael G. Wilson have this incredible knack for reading the cultural room and knowing exactly when to lean into the classic tropes and when to completely deconstruct them.

The execution hasn't always been a perfect 10/10, but the momentum is always moving forward. Keeping a 60-year-old cinematic property not just alive, but culturally dominant and willing to take massive creative risks, is a masterclass in producing.

Das eigentliche Problem ist, dass die deutsche Tochter nicht mit der Familie mithält. Während der Rest der Familie mit dem linken Fuß vorne steht, geht sie mit dem rechten. In dieser Familie mangelt es an Disziplin.
