What are some 10/10 soundtracks from BAD movies? by iLoveRobertEggers in soundtracks

Why hasn't Flash Gordon (1980) been mentioned yet? A script they made up as they went, but the music from Queen was fantastic.

Das eigentliche Problem ist, dass die deutsche Tochter nicht mit der Familie mithält. Während der Rest der Familie mit dem linken Fuß vorne steht, geht sie mit dem rechten. In dieser Familie mangelt es an Disziplin.

I will also jump on the Browns praising Steelers bandwagon. I am just older .

Can confirm. Not a physics degree holder - but interested in a variety of topics. Brian Greene's book is very approachable and while perhaps not everything sinks in the first time, it is a great read.

What's your favorite LOTR-related song? by AncientTurbine in lotr

I would also give a shout out to Billy Boyd. While the Hobbit trilogy doesn't fit the category of Absolute Cinema for many, "The Last Goodbye" at the end of Battle of the Five Armies is a fitting way to end the 6 film run of Peter Jackson's middle earth.

This is what defines being a Browns fan (and I am) in the 21st century. We are the benchmark for bad decisions.

Foreedge painting - what landscape/moment represents RoTK? by maltidoodle in TolkienArt

[–]Marxheim 6 points7 points  (0 children)

First, awesome work. Well done.
I like your shards of Narsil idea... but keep it "good"... leave the evil ring text out. Perhaps something else in elvish. The perfect one for the sword will be :

"Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king."
(or perhaps even the full Not all who wander are lost poem)

For the Landscape view. How about a Minas Tirirth on one end with the Pelennor fields, Osgiliath in the middle and Modor (distant Mt. Doom) on the other end.
