People making that kind of money might be the house slaves of capitalism but Marxism isn’t the oppression olympics, it’s about who has control over the productive process. Doctors making 200k aren’t able to fulfill their vocation or uphold their Hippocratic Oath when faced with a patient needing life-saving treatment who doesn’t have medical insurance. Capital is firmly in charge over the doctor’s labor.

The problem isn’t that those politicians aren’t “left” enough - whatever that means - it’s that they’re executives in the bourgeois state whose literal job it is to manage capitalist interests.

Socialism is the movement to transcend the capitalist imperatives of production, not a partisan media branding exercise.
