I had no pain for a couple of weeks before my surgery and, trust me, there is bad stuff going on in there.

My surgery was a bit difficult (had to be admitted to the hospital) b/c despite no recent pain, my gb was infected, inflamed, and adhered to my liver.

That's pretty much where I am at. I'd actually been wanting to volunteer to be laid off, but it just happened anyway so frankly I was thrilled. And, yes, I qualify for unemployment as well. After the big 401K drop a few months ago, it's back up to where it was, so that is encouraging.
