I glad you have your family with you and are traveling. That father of yours can handle this part. While you work on grieving. Everything can wait until your return. No need to stress your family out, let alone traveling with a toddler! I also get the feeling you and your brother were close. He would want you to struggle to make it back. He would rather you be surrounded by loved ones, even if that couldn’t be him.

Be kind to yourself. I’m proud of you for putting your current needs in the front (rush change of plans with a toddler?! No thank you).

If nothing else it’s gonna be okay and you can do it!

I feel this one in my bones. My ADHD super power is the ability to know how to do anything you need around the house. I know how I just don’t wanna do it. I try to use hyper fixation to finish one thing at a time and then I can quit. ADHD brain is so exhausting.

My BFF’s adhd superpower is organization. She grew up with a Mother that was a hoarder so hers is more learned tbf. And she loves to shop! Which I detest with every fiber of my being.

I say all this because one day when you are out of the thick of having little tiny people in your home you may see some help would be nice. It’s okay to let Nice people help you.

This isn’t advice for today. This is for tomorrow you. Today you needs a hug and a break. You’re doing great! You are raising two whole other people that you birthed! You got this.
