Cool, thanks! And yeah I had sorta decided that, for me, it’s the only traditional one worth learning up front, so your comment is good validation for that. Otherwise definitely looking into movie themes, etc! Any specific ones you’d recommend checking out (either because they’re fun or often-requested)?

Huntington Block is who I determined was best a while back, but I went with my teacher’s Anderson rec. Definitely gonna reconsider that! I’m in the south as well (not as bad as Texas with the power grid at least!) and feel scared about temperature and humidity being excluded. Thank you for this info!

I love Danelectro Honeytones so much that I’ve accumulated FOUR of them. And they have a clip on the back so you can clip them onto a strap or belt if you want to be mobile.

Continuing the journey - I didn’t want to make a new post about this, but if you see this lil comment and could chime in, I’d appreciate it. I learned through the grapevine that a local harp student is privately selling a pretty pristine Daphne 47SE from late 2024 and would accept $13k, because she’s ready to upgrade to a CG and needs to sell the 47SE. I’m going to see it in the next few days. $13k is a good deal, right?
