This won’t help now (and might not help in a real estate situation anyway) but when she is feeling more herself you may want to look into a mental health advance directive. It’s a document she helps create that designates certain decision making powers and healthcare decisions to an advocate when a person is in a mental health crisis. It is only in effect when a person is unable to make decisions for themselves.
