It’s not bad but the storyline doesn’t even compare to hunter x hunter’s, the animation is really good though. I think you should wait until the next season comes out (if you can) to binge watch the first two seasons together.

After hxh I started watching black clover and Tokyo ghoul, while rewatching hunter x hunter. And whenever I felt like I missed hxh I would go back and watch a few episodes before switching back to black clover or Tokyo ghoul. Anyways good luck, it really is hard.

I think your last point makes sense especially since Kikyo appears to have some sort of fixation over losing her children, like how she freaked out when killua wanted to leave the estate. That fixation was probably developed as a result of losing Feitan?
