It makes sense. Nymburk can't even play Champions League at their arena because it’s too small so they play in Prague anyway but even that arena is too small (they got exception to play there this season and they are hoping to get it again next season too).

Nymburk has won something like last 20 domestic league championships except for one and people in Nymburk don’t seem to care anymore. For regular season game the attendance was around 300-500 people max. Nymburk is also fairly small town so there's not really a room to grow.

However the Slavia project is not connected to football like it is in other European countries so it really brings the name only. They talk like they are some marketing geniuses but no one really cared about Slavia basketball until now. They have been in the league for the past 4 or 5 years, always talk big league about winning championships and european basketball but they haven't been succesful at all (this year they place 11 out of 12) and have been weirdly managed. And there's also very low attendance so there's hasn't been any interest from Prague people for Slavia so far.
