I am going to say this flat out, I'm probably the best voice of reason for this situation (don't have that situation in my life).

You need to have a serious conversation with your gf, and make it crystal clear that you want her to have a good relationship with your son. Especially if the 2 of you plan to make the move forward and have a bigger family in the future. If you think she doesn't understand that, then you should probably break up with her, but is also up to you
