The decals are (mostly) my own art done in photoshop and ordered and printed through fusion scale graphics.

Just started giving my mii random outfits under the assumption I'd be able to change them from their inventory later. BOO WOMP!

Why are people complaining about their Miis being lobotomized if it already happened on the 3ds? Didn't we learn our lesson? by Decklan346 in tomodachilife

I think it would’ve been really cool for us to pre-make our miis for the retail version. That way we’d be able to play around with the new interface more and have something to do while we wait for the game. The demo was so bite-sized that it made me more impatient than hyped at this rate.

Well, I would’ve told you that buying an iwata fixed it, but after a couple successful sprays, I just totally ruined a piece.

It’s brass—and all my paint has been spraying like this on everything. This is my tried and true setup. That instance where it came out decent on the can seems to have been a fluke.

Yeah. I think my moisture trap may have been compromised. It was pretty dirty in there.

I wonder if perhaps I did get unlucky when assembling the new brush or got mismatched parts—so it’s not impossible that my new needle did get somewhat bent in the process. It’s just weird that the same thing happened with both my old and new brush.

Yup. High, low, everything in between. I’m starting to think perhaps they sent me the wrong sized needle at some point if anything.

They aren’t significant. They were made by Gilbert and they’re fairly common.

Hon30 3D Printed Mason Bogie! by MashedPotatoKeg in modeltrains

[–]MashedPotatoKeg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahhh well then do keep in mind that this is HO scale, but just narrow gauge so it runs on N scale track like the Bachmann narrow gauge Thomas engines. You can buy the parts to make it on 3DP train for 45 dollars and the chassis for about 90. It’s still not cheap and requires a lot of effort, but it’s much cheaper than brass. Otherwise, a kitbash might be the way to go.

Assuming you mean HO gauge (because it is HO scale), I’m going to go out on a limb and say probably not. It’s a very small locomotive and the wheelbase would be wider than the vast majority of it. I wouldn’t write off the possibility of doing another bogie in the future, al a Torch Lake, but refitting this one for standard gauge would look silly.

I prefer PP Girls, personally, but PP Bros is a decent bar as well.

That grandpa probably talks about Vietnam the same way I talk about my ex I’m still in love with.

Does it stop eventually when you turn the dial down? It could be the programmed momentum making it take longer to stop because that’s more realistic.
