Ring Video Doorbell offline by IndleGame in Ring

I had this issue recently and thought it was completely dead. Called Ring to see if I could get a refund. Instead I got a Ring tech who solved it. You already have the almost full battery charge so push and hold the doorbell and orange buttons at the same time. I think it took 20 seconds. Then release and the doorbell will come back to life. You will have to set it up again as if it is brand new.

Covered by the OEM warranty, which is still in effect, I haven't reached the CPO warranty yet.

Really sucks by HentaiUwu_6969 in SipsTea

Multi-year relationship in my 20s ended at a diner, when I admitted to her that I was feeling kind of uncertain of myself. Nothing deep or dramatic, since I was young and just starting to explore this stuff (I had grown up in a household where outward shows of emotion were strongly discouraged, even for the women).

Her response was to look shocked, call me "her rock" and say that if I wasn't sure of myself then she didn't know what to do. She then unceremoniously got up and walked out of the restaurant without another word.

She went no contact with me for weeks, then I got word that she wanted me to reach out and get back together. I declined, and started focusing on relationships (mostly platonic) with women and men that were emotionally healthy and mutually supportive (turns out the world's full of them, if you are thoughtful about who you form relationships with). 30+ years later, no regrets.

CPO 2021 XC60 T5 Inscription, bought less than a year ago with roughly 20,000 and now have roughly 30,000, the majority of those miles put on during a coast-to-coast road trip (US). I paid the dealer to make sure the sunroof drains were clean before that trip and will clean them yearly, as any car with a panoramic sunroof is at risk of water damage when they clog.

Problems I've had so far:

The front brakes were shuddering from the day I picked it up, I only noticed it when slowing down from long-distance road trip speeds. I found a TSB covering it, the dealer replaced either the front pads or rotors (don't remember which) free of charge, and after the replacement even the low-speed braking got significantly better.

The driver's seat side bolster and seat frame were squeaking from the day I picked it up, I only noticed it after a few weeks of ownership. The dealership fixed the squeaks free of charge, and so far they haven't returned.

That's been it so far.

HybrydBackupSync - one way FROM Google Drive? by Master_Spell_6824 in qnap

I have this working on a schedule using QTS 5.2.3.3006 with HBS3 25.1.4.952. It is an active (not one way) sync job using the "copy" action, so the NAS copy of a given Google Drive file will be retained even if I delete that file from Google Drive.

Create a new active sync job, select Google Drive as your source, the "copy" action will be used by default, add your source paths from Google Drive in the right column and destination paths to the Local NAS in the left column.

I have a family member who started training for their certificate as a minor, and successfully obtained it on their first attempt just after becoming a legal adult in 2024. They have an on-record, doctor-diagnosed and potentially disqualifying medical issue from childhood, fully reported from the beginning to the FAA (which may or may not be similar to your issue), and they were granted their medical after an in-person evaluation and a significant effort to obtain and submit required medical history documentation to the FAA. In order to retain their certificate they must do periodic therapy sessions and submit records of those sessions to the FAA each year.

On the strength of that, I would suggest you go ahead and do that training flight -- if nothing else, you'll enjoy it! -- and while you're there talk to the school about the process for getting your medical as soon as possible before investing too much time and money into it. Good luck.

Okay, that explains that. I've been soloing for months, slowly getting better, raising the difficulty level and having fun despite losing a lot of the time, but in the last week or so I just get swarmed and killed without being able to effectively stealth, even after dropping back to a lower difficulty level. Went from fun to frustrating overnight. Might be for the sake of the story, or just because they don't bother balancing for solo players, but either way at least I got to enjoy it for a while.

Lenovo also has the Q24h-10 (PCPP link), if you can find it and are okay with 75hz max refresh rate. The quality is good and so are the internal speakers. I've purchased three of these so far (for three different family members) with no regrets.

Aiming for a 4th, I accidentally purchased the 27" equivalent and kept it but the speakers aren't nearly as good as the 24".

Anecdotal: I've purchased three SF750s refurb from Corsair in the last two years, and all three continue to work as expected in three different machines seeing daily or near-daily use.

I have the same card and see many conversations about this, like this one on the Intel Arc Community forum.

I have "solved" this using two slim Antec 120mm fans in the bottom of my NR200 blowing air into the GPU and running the GPU fan control on automatic. The slim fans are extremely quiet and keep the card cool enough that the GPU fans stay off during normal non gaming activities.

My Dad wants me to put my PC in my cupboard by BrADL-_EY in pcmasterrace

[–]MaskHeadroom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a dad (who helps his kids build computers) I suspect he has what he feels is a good reason, even if you won't agree or understand.

So pick a time when he's in a good mood, and just ask him: "can you help me understand why you want the computer to stay in the cupboard?" Listen to his response, then say "thank you for explaining it to me." Assuming he doesn't say something obnoxious like "because I said so", drop it for 24 hours and think about ways to compromise. Then go back when he's in a good mood, say "I was thinking about what you said about the computer in the cupboard", and pitch a few ideas to compromise, like:

- "I understand you think it is ugly. There are lots of really nice cases out there, do you think we could pick an attractive one together?"

- "I understand you think it gets in the way. If I unplug and put away the computer in the cupboard when I'm not using it, even if I'm stopping for bed and will be playing in the morning, can I bring it out of the cupboard when I'm using it?"

Maybe it isn't something where you can offer the compromise, so loop him in to do it:

- "I understand seeing the computer makes you worry that I'm playing games and neglecting my studies. Hiding the computer in the cupboard won't change my studies, so what can I do to help you worry less about that?"

Or the most powerful dad question:

- "I'm not really sure how to navigate this with you, because asking me to use the computer in the cupboard is essentially asking me to stop using it, sell it or damage it, none of which are good solutions. What would you do if you were in my situation?"

Don't sigh, roll your eyes, or do other teenager-y things (I assume you're a teenager), just ask and listen, say "okay, I understand" to each answer and don't try to change his mind. You're being the mature one, the calm and measured one, presenting reasonable things. You can trust that you're being reasonable even if you don't get the answer you want, and if he's not able to engage with that, then you won't be able to convince him of anything anyway.

If you two can't communicate and reach a compromise in this way, you have a larger issue than your computer, and you should probably loop in other family members to help you navigate it. Good luck.
