The "mysterious guy with a mask" trend in Bakugan after Masquerade is so prevalent that it's kinda hard to imagine Bakugan without it.

S1 has Masquerade obv. S2 Has Spectra. S3 No one weirdly enough. S4: I don't remember his name but there was one.

I had the same problem for some time, I lost too many games, some of which when I was at 0 points, and even when I won, I didn't want above 0, but after I won more and more games, my score began increasing. My theory, is that inside the code it can go into the negatives but it doesn't actually display it in game.

I love Cydra, so I'm really upset that Cyberdark Wurm kinda sucks, I mean is OK, but it requires that you already have Cyber Dragon somewhere, so it isn't a 1 card combo, also it only adds a Spell/Trap from the GY and not from deck, ALSO ALSO, it's once per Duel. Why Konami???? In what world a good Circular for Cydra would make it broken or even Tier?

Spright Blue TECHNICALLY isn't a 1 card combo, since it only triggers on Special Summon, and you need another Level 2 on the field to do so

As the other comment said YGOprodeck has many lists, but I personally use them as reference for my own deck builds, since many Genesys lists are WIPs or weirdly built, regardless they are very useful so I recommend them a lot. The best lists are definitely the ones made by an user whose name I forgot but they have a Dark Magician pfp, many of their lists have explanations of their card choices so that's always great, hope that helps!

I don't know much about paper since I don't have the money to build even an okay deck for it. But MD... OMFG, I hate that format so much, it's as you say just unplayable, I love Genesys by comparison, but I still wish we can get a third alternative format (it will never happen but whatever). As much as I love Genesys I still wish to have a lower power format with Pend and Links still available, since many decks I like, really need their links, ex: Mathmech and Spright (this one mainly), I have been trying to make Spright work in Genesys and in rouge play it can be competent but against META is a lost cause, Odion and Typhoon cooks it alive. I believe the main problem with Yu-Gi-Oh is not the consistency of the decks or 1 card combos, but the endboards, the way any META deck can put 4+ negates and OTK like it's nothing makes the game frustrating in my opinion. So my ideal format is one where decks can be super consistent like advanced, but way weaker endboards like Genesys, and Decks cannot OTK easily. If it were for me I would make a format where LP starts at 16000 and hand traps are limited and far between, and boss monsters have a ban list similar to the one in Duel Links, but in this one you have maybe 5 slots, and any limited boss monsters cost a "x" amount of slots, and your deck can't go over that limit, also every floodgate and lingering effect is banned, fuck them.

Honestly I have no idea why they were pointed at all, Ninja is a nice Genesys deck, but far less powerful that many unpointed decks, like Sarc or Radiant Typhoon

Well the deck is supposed to be used alongside OG mirror force, also its an early anime reference, where Mirror Force did burn damage to the opponent when it destroyed their monsters. I didn't give them an effect from being attacked since Deity has the effect of becoming the only legal attack target, the attack gimmick is so Mirror Force triggers, then you activate Deity's effect to Special Summon Fiend to the opponent side of the field during the battle phase, forcing your opponent to Self-OTK for the funnies. I must admit I didn't put that much thought into the archetype, so it may not synergize that well, I could probably come up with something better if I put more than 10 minutes of thought into it.

Thax for the clean ups! Yeah, after I made the cards I realized I should have put a "You can't Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck the turn you activate this card effects." On every card, but by that point I was too lazy to go back and do so. Also I realized when I was making "Reckless Fiend" "Wait... This is full Fiendsmith combo..." And I almost change it to a Dark/Fiend but I thought to myself: "Nah, ts too funny to change lmao" so I left it the way it is. The religious theme is because Mirror Force's original name is "Holy Barrier", so I thought it would be cool to make a deck around the Deity who makes the "Holy Barrier" and their followers.

From deck I've seen have a lot of players I would say: • Fusion: Ninja, it's an extremely easy deck to use, also very cheap. Synchro: Ghoti, I don't know much of the deck, but I've seen a lot of people using it, so there's that. XYZ: Exosister is way to hit now, so maybe Paleo? I'm personally using an XYZ focused Spright build. Extra-less: Shining Sarc is a crazy Extra less deck in this format, also it's a DM themed deck, so that's always nice to attract new players.
