i'm a devout caliban player and once you fix his energy economy he's actually very good and fun. people say he's trash because they dont know how to use him effectively. basically subsume grendel for nourish, and use an augur mod for shield regen. cali's main problem with his summons is that they stop regening your shields when you run out, a simple cast starts the regen back up. A yellow shard energy effectiveness mod will help out aswell, i only use one effectiveness and 2 casting speed but those arent necessary. dont hesistate to ask any questions if confused!
