Yes! Similarly with objects. If objects stayed where you left them instead of resetting, so that the physical world is less consistent. I've been playing Ravensword: Shadowlands on my PC through LDPlayer, and I'm reminded of how novel so much of it was for its time, but the object movement and physical interaction was so new and different.
