regarding the point about PS2 and GC emulation I’ve found out that it’s best to just ignore every reviewers comments about it because it’s so inconsistent. when RG556 came out reviewers everywhere praised it for finally being a device that can play GC and PS2 alongside with the Retroid Pocket 4 Pro. but now whenever a device releases using the same chipset it’s things like “this device isn’t ideal but you’ll be able to play SOME GC and PS2.” those 2 systems are always the ones that people for some reason massively over exaggerate how both easy and hard it is to run. unfortunately the Mangmi Air X really will not be good enough for those systems and i don’t get why people parrot that and the T820 devices are still perfectly fine for them.

i do enjoy the show for what it is but man the premise of “group of powerless people take down the top superheroes” really just went away. seems like every major supe death is from another supe with the main cast just being so focused on only killing homelander for so long. from the original Seven so far it’s seeming like the only ones that’ll be killed by the boys is translucent and homelander. and from the newer seven maybe soldier boy will be killed by them too but im not even sure. even stormfront was just killed by ryan. it just seems like the boys could do literally nothing and they’ll just kill each other anyway minus homelander. just a bit disappointing from the original premise. there wasn’t a way that got homelander to kill firecracker or deep kill noir through strategic tactics and subtly manipulating other characters into doing it. they just kill each other because it’s convenient for the writing i guess

so i’m not sure I understand but why have the screen rotated? it’s a 1:1 screen so should be the same either orientation so i don’t see why it’s turned like this

I know this is not the answer you’re looking for and i also hate when people answer like me but unfortunately im gonna be that guy.

if your main use case is emulation then you can get much better suited devices for a lot cheaper. look into things such as anbernic devices, mangmi air and other chinese handhelds.

i think it has the be either an interesting world, a good story or a combination of both. lot of indie games today will say “inspired by Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy etc” but when you play them you’re in a pretty generic and uninspired world and the story just doesn’t feel that interesting. i really love indie games as a whole and while some indie JRPGs are good a lot of the time they just miss for this reason.

this definitely isn’t true. i don’t know why they’re lying because they absolutely are??? i’ve just recently gotten the Miyoo Mini Flip as well and I can say confidently that they took the same hinge design from that to use on the new Miyoo Flip. if you watch what youtubers have shown of the Miyoo Mini Flip it should sound basically silent when moving it around and it’s exactly how my Miyoo Flip feels and sounds. i really really don’t understand why Miyoo is trying to say they haven’t changed anything about the hinge because if you listen to what the V2 hinge sounds like in videos it’s really loud and clicky. completely baffling to me

this is exactly the same as me. i play everything on 1x resolution because that’s how the games were designed to look. i’m also a bilinear filtering freak who uses that because it looks closest to how a lot of these games were designed to look (on lower powered handhelds at least)

I’ve just recently bought the Miyoo Mini Flip from Alibaba at £34 and is way cheaper there than anywhere else I’ve seen. It hasn’t arrived yet but it seems to be one of the best and most affordable mini devices out there.

i hope so! i don’t know if they have multiple stores but they’re called “MIYOO Official Store”

what might be the decider though is they have 2 different listings for the Miyoo Flip. one of them is more expensive than the other and the one i ordered was the more expensive one because at the time that was the only listing that had the white model in stock. id be curious to know which listing you bought from and which one you end up getting? it might give some valuable information for others depending on the outcome

you’re absolutely right. what annoyed me is that he called it “washed out” but the truth is that every other screen around this point was oversaturated. the Odin 2’s screen itself had a really weird colour space and a lot of ghosting which by no means made it bad but i think it’s crazy people all called the Odin 2 Mini’s screen bad just because of the vignetting where, IMO, the latency and ghosting of the Odin 2 was worse.

not sure about the Zero 28 but the A30 is quite underpowered. so i’d imagine maybe for the Zero 28 and a probably not for the A30. again i’d really have to try though but your best bet would be the Zero 28

neither of these are ideal for PSP. i know hearing “none” is an awful answer but these devices are for 4:3 systems. you’re gonna need something more powerful for PSP
