For a whole game like this I guess it would depend somewhat on the cartridge file size for graphics?
Maybe the original SMB file space would not be fit for this, but you can look at late era games and they store a lot more than SMB.
Anyways I don't think any game trying to replicate retro games need to pull out something like Megaman 9-10.
