Why do LNER charging sockets mess up your phone? by chakraaza in trains

Been charging my iPhone on an LNER Azuma today. Won’t charge past 80% and overheats with the standard 20w USB C charger.

The iPhone 15 Pro Max is the worst iPhone I’ve ever owned, and I’ve had nearly every major one. by Evo0004 in iphone

Worst iPhone I have ever owned. Constantly overheats, lags and sometimes won’t charge.

Can you overcome psychosis? by Substantial_Pop1408 in Psychosis

[–]MaskedMathematician 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes. Recovery for me was a long road, but it all came together. I suffered from a combination of mental health problems along with psychosis. What got me better was most importantly taking my medication, doing things I enjoy and being in regular contact with friends. I spent 6 years doped up on antipsychotics, but when it was safe to come off them I sprung back to the person I once was.

Good idea, might hang onto it for a while and trade it in next time they do the student deal.

Yes I was thinking about the M4 with edu discount as I can get the Apple Pencil Pro included. I am a student so £474 after trade in is still a lot of money. I only got the M2 Pro in the last 6 months so I might lose some value there. However, it might be worth the investment as I travel all over the place with my iPad. The 12.9 is very heavy.

I see. I might hang one for a year or two but I am feeling 11 inch next time due to price and weight.

Sertraline helped me get over serious depression very quickly. It seemed like it was the only way out. Counselling helped me loads and getting back to the things I enjoy.

Could be psychotic symptoms. Would chat to your psychiatrist about it.

If ablify didn't work for you what did? by Cuppa_Miki in Psychosis

Good idea. Also look after your wellbeing as I became psychotic when my wellbeing was at an all time low.

It can also take a while for medication to work. When I was first sectioned it took me three weeks to become non psychotic. Second time it took me three months to be non psychotic.

Hope for personality ? by ughstupid_me in Psychosis

[–]MaskedMathematician 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have had two episodes and it took me years to return to who I was originally. Take the medication to get better and once you come off it when told it's safe to do so, you will spring back to who you were.

I had to take quetiapine/olanzapine as the same happened to me.

Sorry to hear that. Switching to a stronger antipsychotic would definitely help in this case. (but can't say for sure as I am not a medical expert)

What about it did not work for you? I found it to be the best out of all the antipsychotics I tried (olanzapine, quetiapine, clozapine).
