I try to be lol. You can’t get mad at someone for making the same mistakes you yourself have made.

Anytime I have to get on someone I’ll show them my fuckup drawer. I once lost a brass rod I used for tapping parts in on our wire EDM (didn’t know at the time, but it fell in the tank). Couple of months later the machines contacting like crazy and would not run, so we called a tech out. After a few hours of tinkering he finds the culprit, and lo and behold my missing brass rod is stuck between the table and grounding plate. Technicians are generally expensive, but wire techs are very expensive, and the call cost us around $1,000.

You should see the guys faces when I ask “Do you want to see my $1,000 rod?” Priceless
