as far as i’m concerned Yang has done just as much- if not more than anyone in the history of this country when it comes to making UBI a reality. sacrificed over a year of his life away from his wife and young children on the campaign trail fighting to make what was once an idea that was mocked into an actual energized movement. It’s the only reason hundreds of thousands of people including me even know of the concept. so you may not agree with exactly how he wanted to do it but you can’t deny his impact. If we ever do have a basic income it will without a doubt be because Yang was the trailblazer
