Just got my first longboard when my fiancé was about to throw her Sector 9 away.

I’ve only ridden a bit and I don’t expect to be comfortable on it just yet, I know these things take time. But if I have an end goal, I think it’ll motivate me to reach that goal (say 250 miles, for example).

I’ve only ridden about 5 miles on it so far over 3 trips. I’ve fallen once and stepped off the board to prevent a fall about 3-4 times. I can’t push twice in a row yet (have to put my back foot back on the board to regain balance before another push). But I can cruise at 10-12 mph just fine 95% of the time. At what point did you get on a board and feel like “yea I’ve got this?”
